Yes. We generally start with a 10-day trial, giving you the chance to work with your selected Tekkie on real tasks inside your existing environment before deciding whether you’d like to continue.

It’s the best way to assess the things that really matter: technical capability, communication, responsiveness and how well they fit into your team.

If everything is working well, the assignment simply continues into our normal ongoing arrangement.

No. Tekkon assignments are designed to give growing businesses flexibility without locking them into a long fixed-term project contract.

After the trial, you can continue with your Tekkie on an ongoing basis, with the ability to scale your team up or down as your requirements change, subject to the applicable notice periods.

The idea is to give you the benefits of having someone embedded in your team without taking on the commitment of another permanent local hire.

Absolutely.We first spend time understanding your role, technology, working style and expectations. From there, we generally recommend the one person we believe is the strongest fit, rather than sending you a pile of CVs to sort through.

Our placement success rate is consistently very high, which comes from taking the time to understand what you actually need before we start matching people to the role.

You can meet and chat with the recommended Tekkie before they start. And if you’d prefer a little more choice, we can also present a small shortlist of our strongest candidates

If we already have the right person available, we can move quickly.

But we won’t simply put someone on your assignment because they happen to be sitting on our bench. We’d rather take a little longer and find the right person than fill the seat with the wrong one.

We start with a requirements conversation, then our Resource Manager checks our current team and recruitment pipeline. If we need to recruit specifically for your role, specialist recruitment can sometimes take around 4–6 weeks, depending on the skills required.

We’ll keep you updated along the way so you always know where things stand.

They work inside your environment, as an extension of your existing team.

Your Tekkie can work in your project management system, development environment, email, Slack or Teams, meetings, documentation and other tools you already use. You set the priorities and maintain control over what gets built and how the work is delivered.

Our Tekkies are also AI-enabled and comfortable using modern AI tools as part of their workflow where appropriate and in line with your own policies.

And importantly, the work created for your assignment including the associated IP belongs to you.

Tekkon stays alongside the engagement to support the Tekkie, monitor the assignment and help when needed.

Yes. A lot of clients begin with a single developer and then add capability as their product and budget grow.

You might start with a full-stack developer, then add frontend or backend capability, testing, UI/UX, DevOps, AI/ML or technical architecture as the need arises.

It means you can build a broader product team progressively rather than having to recruit an entire local team from day one.

Yes. Your Tekkie logs their worked days along with notes about what they’ve been working on.

Your Tekkon invoice includes a link to the assignment log, so you can review the days being billed and the work notes behind them.

Tekkon supervisors also review and approve Tekkie timesheets, which helps keep billing transparent and gives you visibility into the work being delivered.

The 10-day trial is the best opportunity to test the fit early.

But people, businesses and projects change. An assignment might work well for months and then something shifts — workload, communication, responsibilities, the client environment or something happening in the Tekkie’s life.

If something isn’t working, tell us.

We can step in with feedback, performance management and support, working with the Tekkie and their supervisor to understand what has changed and whether it can be fixed.

If it still isn’t working or you simply decide you want a change we can replace the Tekkie and manage the transition with you. Where practical, we’ll also try to arrange some handover overlap to minimise disruption.

You’re not stuck with someone just because they passed the original trial.

Our standard assignments are designed to run continuously, rather than being switched on and off from week to week.

Unless we’ve agreed something different upfront, a full-time Tekkie works their normal Nepal working days on an ongoing basis. Nepal public holidays and approved leave are exceptions, but client holidays, quiet periods or internal delays don’t automatically pause the assignment.

That continuity is important because the Tekkie is reserved for your team.

There are exceptions. Some specialist services can be delivered as short specialist engagements — for example, a day of DevOps assistance or a few days of UI/UX work. These work well for clearly defined pieces of specialist work, but they’re not the normal model for an embedded developer.
